The Steeplejack and Lightning Protection Training Group (SLPTG) has recognised the achievements of apprentices in the sector at its Apprentice Awards Dinner held at the National Construction College (NCC) East in January.
Guest speaker ATLAS President and former apprentice Jason Harfield, said: “A steady flow of well-trained and qualified young people into the workplace is essential to the long-term prosperity of our industry and apprenticeships remain the best way to ensure this.”
The event was sponsored by AIF member organisation ATLAS, together with PTSG – Electrical, Churchill Specialist Contracting, Cuttings and Omega Red Group, and the CITB.
