This morning, the Health and Safety Executive released their annual statistics for work-related fatal injuries in Great Britain, 2026.

Some key headlines relating to falls from height:
🟢 Falls from height remain the leading cause of workplace fatalities in Great Britain
🟢 31 people died at work due to a fall from height – a reduction of 11% from 2024/25
🟢 Falls from height accounted for 25% of all workplace fatalities in 2025/26 (down from 28% in 2024/25 and 36% in 2023/24)
