Checking that an operative has a PASMA card before they build a tower is a good start – but is it enough?
Different tower configurations require different skills. While a standard Towers for Users qualification covers basic mobile access towers, more complex structures – such as cantilever towers and linked towers – require additional specialist training.
PASMA is urging everyone responsible for planning, supervising and managing work at height to make one simple check before work begins: make sure the qualification listed on the operative’s PASMA card matches the tower they’re about to build.

Have they got the right card for that tower?
